I think mealy bugs are laying eggs on my metal water dispenser. I’ve cleaned it with water and bleach. But they’re back. I can see them when I remove the empty jug and go to replace it with a full one. I see tiny yellow eggs floating in the water. I didn’t know what these were so as an experiment I didn’t pour in a new jug. I just placed a plate on the top opening and waited a few days. Then when I removed the plate I saw a small scaly white bug in the water next to the eggs. How are they getting into my water?

Hi. Interesting article. It'll try the soap and digging some coffee in around the roots. PS You probably should proof read for typos (eg "wreak" instead of "wreck", "They’re a prized possession for many and makes a great garden plan(t) alongside a parasitic wasp a(t)tractor."). Also, there is a whole section repeated ("Will dish soap kill mealybugs").
