Anthony,

I have a picture of a clover mite that is roughly 4 mm long. I keep seeing posts that they are less than 1mm, and you even said 0.75mm size. Please email me so I can confirm this picture with you, and maybe you can help me identify it if it somehow is not a clover mite or a chigger.

Thanks,
Jordan Moore

In reply to <a href="https://bugwiz.com/get-rid-of-clover-mites/#comment-2811">anonymous</a>.

Same here...I was wondering about a steamer and if it would work or do any good. Did you ever end up steaming them and if so, what was the outcome? I'm more looking to kill them AND clean up at the same time so maybe a steamer would work. Not sure. Any advice would be appreciated! They're all over my home even after the exterminator came and sprayed everywhere. Help!

THIS!!! This is the type of info I've been looking for. Nice job explaining everything. My issue now is that the clover mites are inside of my couches, my area rugs, inside my throw pillows...how can I get rid of them from all of those places? Should I rent a steamer? Will steaming do any good or should I rent a commercial grade vacuum cleaner? Or both? These things have taken over my home and they are no joke. I'm a very clean person with a spotless house and they still are thriving in here.

Clover mites have left a lot of little stains on fabrics and articles of clothing in my home. Always in clothes in the bottom drawers of dressers. Any suggestions on how to remove the stains? I've tried stain remover products and oxy-clean products, they do not work. I'm thinking of trying a steamer, but the heat may just set the stains.
