You mention the importance of getting insecticide sprays that are safe for humans and pets, and then recommend Phantom aerosols. Their main ingredient is chlorfenapyr, which studies show is highly toxic to humans. Can you recommend any spray that is truly non-toxic or relatively safe for humans and pets?

I initially found them in my bucket of damp rid thinking they liked moisture! Found then in my cereal and pantry, too. Tossed everything out that had a cardboard container. Even found them in my protein powder that had a screwed on lid but hadn't been used in 6 months. After my pantry has just been purged I saw that I need to clean the holes out on the sides!

Things that also work:

* Indoor UV light fans (like Katchy on Amazon) for about $30.
* Search for anything that has a velvety or soft microfiber material. That's where I found the eggs and larvae. They were on a soft microfiber knee wrap that I had stored on top of a tall dresser. I guess they like nesting in that material. Look for pillows with this thick material, too.
* Wipe down baseboards and especially spray low corners with D-Force.
* I was successful when putting all of my pheremone traps and two mini UV Katchy light traps all in the same small place at night in an otherwise dark part of the kitchen. The light and pheremones attracted them and the traps & D-Force killed them.
