Hi , I have an un usual problem . I have a stainless steel propane barbecue. I keep it covered when not in use . Last summer I had a terrible time with these tiny bugs. They look black in color . They do crawl on my barbecue as well as on the cover . I realized my barbecue cover was loaded with them ( a fairly new cover , less than 6 months .) these bugs are fast moving , and dart thru the fabric of the cover . I scoured my bar b q . And left it open to air . I got so frustrated I even sprayed the entire thing , with Raid ( not the cooking grills.) I do not see them going after food . Nothing near the burners etc . I’m at my wits end . Any suggestions ? Btw I sprinkled diatomaceous earth all around it and on the cover. Still no help . I’m thinking something came in the new cover and I should throw it out and start fresh . They are the tiniest black bugs I have ever seen… thank you
